Service Description

Create your own unique ceramic lamp using hand-built clay beads! Over four sessions, you’ll design and make 7–8 individual ceramic pieces that will come together to form a statement lamp. 4 classes over 5 weeks on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:30pm, starting Sep 1st. Session times are below. In classes 1 & 2, you'll design and build your ceramic beads. In class 3, we'll focus on surface decoration and refinement. Then there's a break week to get them through the bisque. In class 4, you'll finish your pieces using oxides, underglazes or glazes to create your desired look. The course fee includes the lamp base, all clay and all tools. Lamp shade not included.
